ABOUT FAC Founded in 2004, the Fairmount Art Center is a creative resource serving the Philadelphia community. With art classes, workshops, camps, parties, tours, and more, we cultivate creativity in artists of all ages and ability levels in diverse media including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and decorative arts. In 2007 we went through significant transition as we outgrew our first studio and designed, remodeled and moved into newly renovated, storefront studios directly behind the art museum’s Perelman Building. FAC’s skilled faculty offer diversity of experience with outstanding accomplishments as professional artists and art educators in our spacious and welcoming studios.
