Last Sundays: Felting & Fibers Sunday, March 28th 4-7pm Tr. Carole Loeffler Felting is an ancient art form that actually pre-dates weaving. It is amazingly simple; wool (or roving) fibers are basically matted together to bind into a fabric with either a wet (soap and water) or dry (barbed needle) process. In this exciting workshop you’ll learn both techniques, work with a luscious palette of roving colors, and even learn how to recycle old wool sweaters into new felted creations! Get into the process and create wearable’s like felted beads for jewelry, scarves, and little 3-D needle felted objects. Felt is fuzzy and fun and easy to do at home, too!
